ICS System
Service Features
Originally, the Image Check Clearing System (ICS) service is run and operated by the Bank of Thailand (BOT). With the new policy, BOT wants to seperate the roles between regulator and operator by encouraging the private sector to operate the Imaged Check Clearing System (ICS) while the BOT will still be the regulator.
Following that, the Thai Bankers' Association (TBA), the Association of State Financial Institutions (GFA), and the International Banking Association (IAB) appointed the National ITMX Company Limited (NITMX) to be an operator and provide service for the Imaged Cheque Clearing System (ICS) under the regulation of BOT to encourage more flexibility in future development and innovation.
