Trade Document Registry (TDR) is a joint cooperation between NITMX, member banks and The Thai Bankers Association. TDR is developed for banks to verify the trade- and transportation-related documents whether the customers have previously applied for financing andor discount for the same international trading transactions with other banks (Double Financing) for the purposes of enhancing the efficiency in the approval process of international trade financing and, particularly, mitigating the risk of document fraud, which is one of the causes of non-performing loans that damages the banking sector, international and domestic trades and the overall economic system.TDR will be a key to reduce duplicate financing risk of trade finance in Thailand
